The Bridgeville Rifle & Pistol Club was founded soon after World War II by a number of WWII vets. The Club was formally incorporated in 1993 and is located on approximately 130 acres at 10409 Rifle Range Road, Bridgeville, DE on land which was originally owned by the American Legion. The primary activity at that time was NRA High Power Rifle competition at 200, 300 and 600 yards. As the popularity of the shooting sports grew in the area, so too did the membership and the need to accommodate the variety of shooting disciplines new members brought with them. Since 1994, the Club’s range offerings have expanded to cover numerous types of rifle and pistol shooting styles and hosts competitive matches almost weekly. Additionally, the Club offers training ranging from basic rifle and pistol courses to advanced shooting and State of Delaware approved Concealed Carry of a Deadly Weapon programs. The Bridgeville Rifle & Pistol Club, Ltd. is operated by its Officers and Executive Board on behalf of the membership for the purpose of providing a facility where current members, their guests and any other users authorized by the Board may enjoy recreational, informal and competitive shooting of firearms in a private and friendly atmosphere.
